G C Jain has completed his UG and PG courses from Udaipur Agricultural University and PhD from NDRI. He has retired as Principal Scientist and HOD from ICAR-CIRB (1996) and served post-retirement as Executive Director, Director, Professor and Head in institutions and colleges, Examiner for Doctoral and Postgraduate courses of seven universities, He is a Fellow of Indian Society for the Study of Animal Reproduction and Agriculture Research Service from ICAR-India. He has visited as overseas fellow to research institutes and medico-veterinary colleges of USSR and USA, fundamentally engaged in the area of endocrinology, reproduction, ETT & IVM.

G C Jain's research interests are Animal Reproduction, endocrinology, ETT & IVM.
