Yoav Gazit

 Entomologist

 He is an entomologist in the The Israel Cohen Institute for Biological Control, Plant Production and Marketing Board, Monosson, Israel.He was awarded with a Ph.D  from the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and EnvironmentDegree, Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1993. Then he completed postdoctoral fellowship from United States Department of Agriculture · Agricultural Research Service (ARS) · Insect Attractants, Behavior and Basic Biology Research Laboratory, Florida, USA. He has more than 10 years of research experience and accomplished 9research project and has more than 49 international publications. His experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different events for diverse fields of study.His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.

Controlling of fruit flies: Baited-insecticides; Bait-stations; SIT; entomopathogenic nemathods; Classical biological control. Post-harvest disinfecting techniques (cold-, hot-treatments) and in monitoring systems.
