Heat Transfer Applications

It is also known from a experience that heat flows from a hotter parts of the body to a cooler. A mechanisms responsible for the phenomena are the conduction, radiation and convection. Since we are concerned with the paper exclusively within solid bodies, convection only the intervenes through the boundary a conditions in solid-fluid interfaces. Radiation is a usually negligible, except eventually when setting up the boundary conditions. The Heat transfer is the discipline of a thermal engineering that concerns with the generation, use, conversion, and exchange of the thermal energy  between physical systems. Heat transfer is classified into various mechanisms, such as thermal conduction, thermal convection, thermal radiation, and transfer of energy by phase changes.
