K Salini is currently working as a Scientist at Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Hyderabad, India; she extended her valuable service in field of Plant Breeding for several years and has baeen a recipient of many award and grants. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.  Her research interests reflect in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals.

K Salini's research interests are Plant Breeding, Genetics, Seed yield, Plant Genetic Advancement, Agriculture and Horticulture.
