Naila Hamdy

Dr. Naila Hamdy is Associate Professor and Chair of the Journalism and Mass Communication department. Hamdy is also the Past President and a member of the board of the Arab-US Association for Communication Educators (AUSACE), a member of the Broadcast Educators Association (BEA), the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), and the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR). Hamdy is a former television journalist who continues to contribute to the journalism field through her work as a media consultant. She is currently a member of the steering committee for the Independent Egyptian Editors Association (EEA). She is also listed in the Who is She in Egypt database, published by the Women and Memory Forum. She did her PhD, 2007, Egypt, Cairo University.She has got many awards at international level.
