Kazushi Okamoto obtained his PhD in Public Health and Epidemiology in 1989 from the Aichi Medical University, Japan. Since 2014 he has been a Professor at Department of Public Health, Aichi Prefectural University School of Nursing & Health (Japan). His research program currently focuses on epidemiologic studies in the factors associated with the onset of Dementia, Neurodegenerative disease and Life-style related Disease using nutritional, biostatistical and computational approaches. He has published more than 50 papers in reputed journals, including Stroke and Annals of Epidemiology. He also serves as a reviewer, academic editor or editorial board member for several journals
