Dr. Sireesh Babu Maddinedi is currently working as Post-doctoral fellow in Southwest University Chongqing, China. He completed his Doctorate of Philosophy in the Analytical Chemistry Division in field on the thesis entitled “Green synthesis of noble metal nanoparticles, graphene composites and their applications” from VIT University, Vellore, Tamilnadu, India in 2015. His areas of Interests include Colorimetric sensing of metal ions using functionalized gold and silver nanoparticles, synthesis of graphene, graphene composites, functionalization- Applications, and Carbon dots based fluorescent sensors for metal ions detection
