Biography :

Emil Edipovich Lin was born 19 April 1947 in the city of Grozny of the Russian Federation. After leaving high school in the year 1964, he entered the Moscow Engineering - Physical Institute (MEPHI, Moscow). On graduating from the MEPHI in 1970 as engineer-physicist with a special subject «Chemistry of fast-proceeding processes» he got a job in the All-USSR Research Institute of Experimental Physics (VNIIEF), now the Russian Federal Nuclear Center– All-Russia Research Institute of Experimental Physics (RFNC- VNIIEF). At the present time he is working in the Institute of Physics of Explosion, RFNC- VNIIEF. He holds a position of Principal Research Associate. In 2000 an academic degree of Doctor of Science (Physics & Mathematics) was conferred on E.E. Lin with a specialty «Chemical physics, including physics of combustion and explosion». The thesis deals with the peculiarities of impulsive loading of objects in the course of strong expansion of explosion products of solid explosives. He is an author of a lot of research papers, a participant of many scientific conferences, including the international ones.

Dr. Alireza Heidari, Ph.D., D.Sc. is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Chemistry. He has got his Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees form California South University (CSU), Irvine, California, USA. Furthermore, he has double postdocs in Project Management and also in Nanochemistry and Molecular Structure Theory. His research interests are Biophysical Chemistry, Nanochemistry, Quantum Chemistry, Biomolecular and Vibrational Spectroscopy, Molecular Modeling and Structure, Theoretical, Computational and Mathematical Chemistry, Ab initio and Density Functional Methods. He has participated at more than fifty reputed international conferences, seminars, congresses, symposiums and forums around the world as yet. Also, he possesses many published articles in Science Citation Index (SCI)/International Scientific Indexing (ISI) Journals. It should be noted that he has visited many universities or scientific and academic research institutes in different countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Russia, France, Swiss, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Taiwan, South Korea, China, etc. as research fellow, sabbatical and volunteer researcher or visitor heretofore. He has a history of several years of teaching for college students and various disciplines and trends in different universities. Moreover, he has been a senior advisor in various industry and factories. He is expert in many computer programs and programming languages. Hitherto, he has authored more than ten books in Chemistry. Syne, he has been awarded more than four hundreds reputed international awards, prizes, scholarships and honors. Heretofore, he has multiple editorial duties in many reputed international journals. Hitherward, he is a member of more than one hundred reputed international academic–scientific–research institutes around the world.

Design of autochtonous starter cultures tailored for traditional, typical and artisanal fermented foods.  Characterization of the probiotic aptitude of Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) by using in vitro and in vivo (zebrafish) model.  Selection of natural overproducing riboflavin LAB strains for the in situ bio-fortification of fermented foods and fresh cut fruits.  Lactic Acid Bacteria with antimicrobial activity to enhance safety and shelf life of fermented foods.  Formulation of new functional foods.  Production and control of biogenic amines in fermented foods.  Detection and control of Listeria monocytogenes in ready to eat products.  Metagenomic, proteomic, and comparative genomic.  Gene regulation under abiotic stress in microorganisms of industrial interest.
