Dr. Zakariya Kaneesamkandi is an assistant professor of Mechanical Engineering at King Saud University in Riyadh since April 2009. He has completed his Ph.D in Energy Engineering from India, Masters in Energy Engineering and Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. His academic work experience involves courses conducted in: Thermo-fluid areas, Measurements, Renewable Energy Technologies, Energy Conservation and Management and Energy Conservation in Process industries. Dr. Zakariya’s consultancy experience involves conducting preliminary and detailed energy audits in more than 15 different chemical process industries and co-generation sugar plants, while his research experience involves projects in the area of Energy Conservation, Solar Technologies (Photo-voltaic and Thermal) and Biomass Power.

His research experience involves projects in the area of Thermo-fluid areas, Measurements, Renewable Energy Technologies, Energy Conservation and Management and Energy Conservation in Process industries.
