José Joaquim Cabrita da Silva is currently working as an eminent Faculty member at Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon, Portugal. He has published numerous research papers and articles in reputed journals and has various other achievements in the related studies. He has extended his valuable service towards the scientific community with his extensive research work. 

Cabrita is part of a team that investigate real-life use of medicines from a societal and population level to an individual level. Therefore, epidemiologic studies that aimed to determine effectiveness in clinical real world practice and post-authorization safety data are her major interests. Additionally, risk management and adherence to drug therapy are included in projects under development as key variables for rational drug usage.
