Dr.N.D.Shrinithivihahshini is the Assistant Professor, in the Department of Environmental Management, Bharathidasan University Tiruchirappalli.Tamilnadu India. Career started in B.Sc., Agricultural Sciences, at AC&RI, Madurai and later on area of interest had been changed to Environmental Sciences. Completed M.Sc., and Ph D., in the above area, at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. During the period, won several recognition, awards and medals for outstanding performance in the study. Earned knowledge in Composting, particularly Agricultural and Orchard wastes, through Dr.P.P.Ramasamy, research guide and P.G.Dean Agriculture and pursued Doctoral programme, under the guidance of Dr.K.Ramasamy , who is specialized in handling Anaerobes and fermentation technologies. Exposed to various techniques of pollution control during the post graduation, at TNAU such as Phytoremediation, bio-decolurisation of pulp-plant effluent and textile-mill waste water, remediation of chromium affected soils, distillery-wastes, Sulfate reducers, and Methanogens. And won Gold Medal- Professor Rangaswamy Memorial Award-Best Thesis in M.Sc. and cleared NET in 2001.
