An academic , researcher, and leader in pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical care. Contributed as founding member in the development of two faculties of pharmacy and developed (and taught) pharmacy practice courses and curricula.
He introduced Pharmaceutical Care in undergraduate courses in two faculties of pharmacies. Developed and coordinated Continuing Professional Development courses and acquired significant expertise in the accreditation processes of CPD programs.
Dr. Kheir holds an Honorary Senior Clinical Lectureship with the School of Pharmacy, University of Auckland. He is also a Fellow with New Zealand College of Pharmacists, and member of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand. While in New Zealand, he functioned as Pharmaceutical Care Consultant and clinical pharmacy consultant.
