J. K. Sahoo is Assistant Professor and joined at the Department of Mathematics, BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus in 2009. He has authored or co-authored more than seven scientific publications, one book and editor of three journals. He completed his graduate studies with a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (India) in 2010 and his undergraduate studies at the Utkal University with a MSc and BSc in Mathematics in 2004 and 2002 respectively. He has over 5 year of teaching and research experience. His current research interests are in the areas of statistical learning theory, regularization of inverse and ill-posed problems, operator theory, neural networks and support vector machines.
