Dr. Xiaobao Ying work as biological scientist in Gulf Coast Research and Education Center, University of Florida at present. He earned his Ph. D degree from Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. His work on RDR1 was published in Plant cell, the top journal in plant science. He went to US as postdoctoral associate in 2011. His research focused on Huanglongbing. Dr. Ying has lot of experience in plant virology, RNA interference, and molecular plant and pathogen interaction.
