D.E. Mekki is a Professor at the Physics Department of Annaba -Badji Mokhtar University and Leader of the ‘Matter and charge transport in materials group at the LESIMS Laboratory. He received his Master in Materials Sciences from Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris 6), in 1984 and his PhD in Physics of Semiconductors from Annaba-Badji Mokhtar University in 1994. His research interests cover the study of the electrical properties of semiconductors and the investigation of the electrical activity of defects by EBIC and CL techniques. He served as the Head of the Physics Department then as Vice Rector of the Badji Mokhtar University, Annaba for many years.
