 I work at the Institute of Fundamental Studies, Kandy one of the leading research institutes in Sri Lanka. My focus is on pollution monitoring and remediation in soil and water. Special attention is given to landfill leachates, nutrients and toxic metals. I work with many collaborators from different countries including India, South Korea, Japan, Denmark and USA as well as in Sri Lanka. Other than research, I prefer writing about science in Singhalese, mother language.
