Dr Ayanda Olushola Sunday is a member of the Institute of Chartered Chemist of Nigeria and South African Chemical Institute (SACI). He is the Founder/Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Chemical, Material and Environmental Research (IJCMER), an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Applied Science and Engineering Research (IJASER), a member of the International Advisory Body: International Journal of Nano Corrosion Science and Engineering (IJNCSE), Editorial Board Member: Journal of Environmental Science and Water Resources (JESWR) and Journal of Scientific Research and Reviews (JSRR), and former Lecturer at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town, South Africa. He is presently Lecturer I at Federal University Oye Ekiti, Nigeria.

 He attended  Olumayokun Nursery and Primary School, Omupo, Kwara State from 1989-1994, Government Secondary School, Offa, Kwara from 1994-1999, Oyelagbawo Grammar School, Ilala, Kwara State in the year 2000 and University of Ilorin, Kwara State from 2001-2005 (B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry), 2007-2009 (M.Sc Industrial Chemistry), 2009-2010 (PhD Industrial Chemistry but not completed),  2011-2013 Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town, South Africa (Doctor of Technology: Chemistry) and 2013 - Date University of the Western Cape, Bellville, South Africa (Post Doctoral Research Fellow).
