Biography

 Raul Antonio Sperotto obtained his Ph.D. in 2010 at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS - Brazil). He is currently an Assistant Professor at Centro Universitário UNIVATES (Lajeado, Brazil). He is currently working with mineral homeostasis, biofortification, cold tolerance and rice responses to mite infestation.
Research Interest

Mineral nutrition; gene expression analysis; plant physiology and molecular biology; plant responses to biotic and abiotic stresses; biofortification.
