 Farooq Ahmad is currently working as an Assistant Professor at University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. He is a recipient of many awards and grants for her valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of research. His research experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests as a assistant professor reflects in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals. 

His current focus is on the taxonomic and ethnobotanical studies of plants, especially the Grasses from different areas of Pakistan. My research interests are in Plant Taxonomy&Systematics, Agrostology,Medicinal Plants, Ethnobotanical studies, Plant anatomy and Palynology .
