Sarvajeet Singh Gill

 Assistant Professor

Dr. Gill is an assistant professor in the depatment of Agriculture Biotechnology in MD University, Haryana, India. He is awarded PhD in Plant Stress Physiology from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 2008.  He holds a Master Degree in Environmental Botany fromAligarh Muslim University,  India in 2001, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Botany & Chemistry from Kanpur University, Kanpur, India in the year of 1998.  He has extended his valuable service as an Assistant Professor in MD University for more than 7 years and has been a recipient of many award and grants. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.  His research interests as an Assistant Professor reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.  He is the editorial board member of Journal of Biomedicine and Biotechnology Special Issue (Plant Stress & Biotechnology). Routine reviewer of Plant Signaling and Behaviour, Journal of Plant Growth Regulation, African Journal of Biotechnology, Environmental and Experimental Botany, Plant Physiology and Biochemistry etc.  He has been working as an associate editor and reviewer for esteem journals.

 His reseach interest includes Abiotic Stress Tolerance, Reactive Oxygen Species Signaling and Antioxidant Machinery in Plants, Gene Expression, Helicases, Crop Improvement, Transgenics, Nitrogen & Sulfur Metabolism, Plant Fungal Symbiotic Interactions
