“Antoine Al-Achi, Ph.D. is a Professor at Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. In that capacity he teaches biostatistics and physical pharmacy in graduate school as well as in pharmacy professional program. Dr. Al-Achi received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts in 1988. He has over 200 scholarly works including poster presentations, review articles, research publications, books chapters, and books. Dr. Al-Achi has authored and coauthored two textbooks, one was in the field of botanical medicine (An Introduction to Botanical Medicines: History, Science, Uses, and Dangers. The Praeger Series on Contemporary Health and Living, July Silver, M.D., Series Editor; Westport, Connecticut, London; 2008; ISBN 978-0-313-35009-2) and another was in industrial pharmacy (Integrated Pharmaceutics: Applied Preformulation, Product Design, and Regulatory Science. John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Hoboken, New Jersey; 2013. ISBN 978-0-470-59692-0. First Revision: 2014.). His main research interest is in the field of oral protein delivery systems. He has a strong interest in complementary medicine and in particular in the area of botanical medicine.” |
