Prof.S.Balamurugan is with Department of Information Technology, Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. He holds to his credit 120 Publications in various International Journals and IEEE/ Elsevier International Conferences. He has authored a chapter in an International Book "Information Processing" published by I.K. International Publishing . He has published 4 international books titled "Principles of Social Network Data Security", "Principles of Scheduling in Cloud Computing", "Principles of Database Security", and "Principles of Security in Cloud Computing. He is a State Rank holder in 10th grade and received certificate of merit awarded by Association of Matriculation Schools. He was Proficiency Award Winner in 11th grade for securing First Rank throughout the academic year and School First Rank Holder in 12th grade among state language students. He was University Rank holder M.Tech. Examinations,Anna University, India. He served as a Joint Secretary of IT Association, Department of IT, PSG College of Technology, India. He is the recipient of gold medal and certificate of merit for best journal publication by his host institution consecutively for 6 years. Some of his professional activities include editorial board member/reviewer for 10 International Journals covering a spectrum of computer Science and Engineering. invited Session Chair Person for 3 Conferences. He has guided 30 B.Tech projects and 10 M.Tech. projects. He is a life member of ISTE,CSI
