Cancer Glycobiology

During the stage of cancer and tumor, some changes occur in glycan structure and glycosylation also. Like usual cells throughout embryogenesis, tumor cells undergo activation and rapid development, adhere to a kind of other cell types and cell matrices, and invade tissues.
