Radioembolization

Radioembolization is an invasive technique that combines embolization and radiation therapy to treat liver cancer. Small glass or resin beads filled with Yot 90 isotope Y-90 are placed inside the blood vessels that feed the plant. This stops the circulation of blood from the cancer cells and transfers large amounts of radiation into the uterus while disrupting normal tissue. It can help prolong the lives of patients with malignant tumors and improve their quality of life. Your doctor will tell you how to prepare and teach you about eating or drinking before the procedure. Tell your doctor if you are likely to become pregnant or breastfeeding and discuss any recent illnesses, medical conditions, allergies and medications, including medication supplements and aspirin. You may be advised to stop taking aspirin, non-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or blood shortcuts a few days before your procedure. Leave the jewelry at home and wear a comfortable, comfortable outfit.
