Editorial Note

I am delighted to introduce Research & Reviews journal of Zoological sciences (e-ISSN: 2321-6190, p-ISSN: 2347-2294) a peer reviewed scientific journal which focuses on fauna of ecological importance and also includes high-quality research having broader practical or theoretical relevance that demonstrate a conceptual advance in any aspect related to zoological sciences. I am pleased to announce that all the issues in volume 7 were published within the stipulated time along with print issues brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online.

All published articles of this journal are included in the indexing and abstracting coverage of Index Copernicus, Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), Open J Gate, ResearchBible, CiteFactor, Cosmos IF, RefSeek, Hamdard University, Scholarsteer, International Innovative Journal Impact Factor (IIJIF), International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR), Cosmos, Secret Search Engine Labs.

The objective of RRJZS is to publish up-to-date, high-quality and original research papers alongside relevant and insightful reviews. As such, the journal aspires to be vibrant, engaging and accessible, and at the same time integrative and challenging.

During the calendar year of 2019, RRJZS received a total of 20 manuscripts, out of which 10 articles were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format and peer review process. During 2019 around 9 articles were subjected for publication after they are accepted in the peer review process. A total of 9 articles were published (at an average of 4 articles per issue) from authors all around the world. Globally articles have been accessed by the research scientists and also cited.

I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of (Dr. Shalie Malik) during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the editorial assistant, in bringing out issues of RRJZS in time. It is due to the support of our faculty advisors, the hard work of our editorial staff that we were able to bring out issues of RRJZS in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of RRJZS, the office bearers for their support in bringing out yet another volume of RRJZS and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 8 of RRJZS in scheduled time.
