An Analytical Study on 2D Ultrasound Fetal Anatomy Measurement

Abstract

The modern medical technologies have developed such that most of the diseases are curable if diagnosed at their early stage. Segmentation of the fetal anatomy plays an important role in such detection. This paper mainly reviews some of the efficient automatic and semi automatic techniques proposed in the past years for the segmentation of fetal head and femur.
