Dr. Muhammad Uzair Mukhtar is currently affiliated to Quaid e Azam University Islamabad, continuing research in the specialized scientific area of Vector Taxonomy, Vector borne disease and their burden, insect collection and surveillance, different vector control methods, their application in field, chemical safety, integrated vector management. Dr. Muhammad Uzair Mukhtar has authored several articles.He is a Public Health Entomologist for Punjab Health Department. He received a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M), Animal Sciences from Bahauddin Zakariya University in the -2007 – 2012, followed by a postdoctoral program in the 2012. He is a graduated in MS-MEDVC, Medical Entomology and Disease vector control from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad in, with an immediate post-graduation from 2013 – 2015.He  served as Professional Livestock Service Provider  for 6 months in National Agricultural Research Council.  He is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of research. His research interests lie in Animal Welfare, Environment, Health. He is the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise credits him with many publications in national and international journals. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his authorship of many books.
