As a professor of Communication and Native American Studies, Bruce E. has been teaching, researching, and writing at the University of Nebraska at Omaha since 1982, presently as Frederick W. Kayser research professor. He has published 47 books in several fields: history, anthropology, law, the Earth sciences, and many others. His most recent books comprise a three-volume set, Climate Change: An Encyclopedia of Science, Society, and Solutions (2017). Johansen’s writing has been published, debated, and reviewed in many academic venues, among them the William and Mary Quarterly, American Historical Review, Current History, and Nature, as well as in many popular newspapers and magazines, such as The New York Times and The National Geographic. Johansen writes frequently about environmental subjects, including The Encyclopedia of Global Warming Science and Technology (2 vols., 2009), Global Warming in the 21st century (3 vols., 2006), The Global Warming Desk Reference (2001), The Dirty Dozen: Toxic Chemicals and the Earth’s Future (2003), and Indigenous Peoples and Environmental Issues (2004), a 200,000-word encyclopedia of indigenous peoples’ struggles with corporations with a world-wide scope.

Dr Ioannis E. Papadakis has received his PhD in Pomology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) in 2004. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in Agricultural University of Athens (Greece). He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Lecturer of Pomology at Agricultural University of Athens from 2010 until 2015. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like American Journal of Agricultural and Biological Sciences (Associate Editor), Open Access Journal of Agricultural Research, Journal of Agronomy and Agricultural Aspects, American Journal of Agricultural Research, and Modern Concepts & Developments in Agronomy (Associate Editor). He has authored more than 39 research articles published in peer-reviewed journals and more than 50 full research articles published in conference proceedings in English or Greek language. His papers have been cited more than 470 times. He is a member of International Society for Horticultural Science, Geotechnical Chamber of Greece, Greek Society for Horticultural Science, and Hellenic Scientific Society for Genetics and Plant Breeding. He has acted as a reviewer of more than 25 reputed journals like Environmental and Experimental Botany, Scientia Horticulturae, Annals of Applied Biology, Functional Plant Biology, HortScience, Experimental Agriculture, Photosynthetica, Ecological Indicators and Plant Biology. He has acted as a member of Organizing or Scientific/Technical Committees of two Greek Conferences as well as two international ones: 5th International Conference on Food and Agricultural Sciences (ICFAS 2017), 2nd World Congress & Expo on Biotechnology and Bioengineering. His research interests are the following: (i) Plant nutrition and fertilization, (ii) Abiotic stresses (nutrient deficiencies and toxicities, drought, salinity, waterlogging, etc.), (iii) Sexual and asexual propagation of fruit tree species, (iv) Evaluation of fruit tree cultivars and rootstock, and (v) Effect of various cultural practices on tree yield and fruit quality.

Dr. Kaufui Vincent Wong is a Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Miami (UM), Florida, where he has taught and researched since 1979. His primary research areas are in energy and the environment, fluid mechanics and nanotechnology. Dr. Wong has published over 200 refereed papers in journals and conferences. He authored 2 text-books on Thermodynamics, one on Intermediate Heat Transfer, and one on Climate Change. He holds two patents. He has received awards for teaching and mentoring students. He has served on the UM Graduate Council for 3 terms, and elected Faculty Senator for one. He is active in the American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and have held many leadership positions, including Chair of the Advanced Energy Systems Division, and Deputy Group Leader of the Energy Group. He is the 2015 ASME Dixy Lee Ray Award recipient for the environment. Dr. Wong is a popular invited Keynote Speaker in international conferences and symposiums.

Dr. Niroj Aryal is an assistant professor of biological engineering in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Design and the Department of Chemical, Biological and Bio Engineering at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. His academic background includes a bachelor’s in Agricultural Engineering from Tribhuvan University in Nepal, a post graduate diploma in Environmental Education and Sustainable Development from Kathmandu University in Nepal, a master’s in Biosystems Engineering from Michigan State University and a doctorate in Biosystems Engineering and Environmental Engineering from Michigan State. After earning his doctorate in 2015, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher in hydrology and water quality at the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Delta Water Management Research Unit in Jonesboro, Arkansas for two and half years. He has published several research papers in reputable journals, presented at the national and international conferences, and served as reviewer in proposal panels and journals. His research focus is in phytoremediation, water quality, hydrology, BMPs, and ecological engineering.

Dr. Ali N Hassan is a professor at the Institute of Environmental Studies and Research, Ain Shams University, Egypt. Dr. Hassan has 35 years of experience in both field and laboratory research in the broad area of vector-borne diseases, where his studies covered many disease systems of man and animals. His expertise spans ecology, vector biology and control, vector incrimination, arbovirology, GIS and remote sensing modeling of disease ecology. Dr. Hassan has developeda unique multi-disciplinary approach to infectious diseases strengthened by his expertise in the areas of environmental planning/management and sustainability. Dr. Hassan has studied and workedin the MENA Region, USA, Europe and Asia. He has worked at NASA to develop spacebased models to predict vector-borne diseases.Professor Hassan served as PI and co-PI in research projects funded by NIH, WHO, FAO and USAID and has provided consultations to WHO, UNEP, FAO, UNESCO in many parts of the world

Dr. Keith Leggett earned a PhD degree in Inorganic Chemistry (Marine Chemistry) from University of Sydney, Australia in 1989. His postdoctoral experience includes Research Fellowship at the University of Zimbabwe, in Harare. He has worked as the Chief Ecologist and Project Manager for Raleigh International in Southern Africa for 3 years in Namibia and Zimbabwe. Later on he took a job as the Conservation Officer of the Kalahari Conservation Society in Botswana. In the following years of his career, he joined as a Senior Scientist and Project Manager of the Hoanib River Catchment Study (HRCS). He returned to Australia to take up the position of Director, University of New South Wales Arid Zone Research Station, Fowlers Gap, a position he is still holding.

Dr.N.D.Shrinithivihahshini is the Assistant Professor, in the Department of Environmental Management, Bharathidasan University Tiruchirappalli.Tamilnadu India. Career started in B.Sc., Agricultural Sciences, at AC&RI, Madurai and later on area of interest had been changed to Environmental Sciences. Completed M.Sc., and Ph D., in the above area, at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. Dr.M.Prashanthi Devi is an Assistant Professor (SG) in the Department of Environmental Management, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, India. She graduated in Zoology/Botany from Avinashilingam Deemed University, Coimbatore in the year 1994. Later she joined Post Graduation in Environmental Sciences at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and obtained her degree in 2000. She did her M.Phil., in Environmental Sciences subsequently and joined Ph.D. where she undertook the task of using GIS and Remote Sensing tools for malaria mapping and was awarded her Ph.D. degree in 2006 for her thesis entitled GIS for Epidemic Malaria -Integration of Spatial Analysis and Modeling: A Case Study of Salem District, India. During her tenure of doctoral research, she worked in several DRDO sponsored research projects. Following the award of her Ph.D. degree, she joined DRDO-BU Center for Life Sciences as a Research fellow in Environmental Management Division as a task member to identify monitoring tools for malaria epidemic in North eastern regions of India using spatial techniques. She attended a series of short-term trainings and research workshops before being appointed as a Lecturer at Bharathidasan University in June 2008. She is now an Assistant Professor (SG) and presently heading the Spatial Modeling and Environmental Geosciences division.

Dr. R. Mohanraj is an Asst. Professor in Dept. of Environmental management, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, India. He holds Masters and PhD degree in Environmental sciences from Bharathiyar University Coimbatore. He had worked as a research fellow in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Division of Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History (Autonomous center of MoEF), Coimbatore from Jan1997 to April 2004. He had been involved in a number of EIA projects as an investigator addressing EIA Components viz. Aerosol chemistry, Air, water, and soil pollution, Environmental Health, Socio-economics, Statistical Analysis. His research interest lies in Environmental Impact and Risk Assessment, Ecological Assessments, Urban Air Pollution, Aerosol Chemistry, Hazardous waste management, Corporate Environmental Management and other research themes related to global climate change. He had received Young Scientist Fellowship from Department of Science and Technology (Government of India) during 2004. During 2012, he was awarded commonwealth Academic fellowship and visited University of Birmingham, U.K. In 2013, he was awarded UGC Postdoctoral Fellowship (under Singh-Obama research initiative) to visit Pennsylvania State University, USA for year. Dr. Mohanraj had published 50 research articles in peer reviewed international and Indian journals. He had authored and edited two books of Springer publications. He had presented more than 50 research and review papers in international and national level seminars /symposia/conferences including COP meetings.

Dr. Shima Bakhshalizadeh, an enthusiastic assistant professor in Department of Marine Science, Caspian Sea Basin Research Center, University of Guilan, Rasht, Iran, with excellent knowledge regarding marine biology, sturgeon life history and migration, and statics. She is researcher and co-researcher in many research projects especially on marine biology, sturgeon life history and migration. She awarded a grant from "The Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund" at 2015.
