Biography

Dr. Ramesh Jagtap is currently working as Scientist/Assistant professor from 23 Jan. 2015 to till date in Vidya Pratishthan’s School of Biotechnology, Vidyanagari, Baramati- 413 801, affiliated to University of Pune. He is recipient of National Merit Scholarship during B.V.Sc. and A.H. programme. He did his M.V.Sc. in Animal biotechnology from JNKVV, Jabalpur , with DBT-JNU fellowship of Govt. of India. He obtained his Ph.D., in the department of Animal Biotechnology from Madras Veterinary College, TANUVAS,Chennai, where he is recipient of TANUVAS merit Scholarchip. During Ph.D., he worked on oncolytic Newcastle disease virus for development of better virotheraeutics against canine adenocarcinoma.
Research Interest

Veterinary diagnostics, therapeutics and vaccines. Immunology and microbiology, Infectious diseases, cancer biology, Genomics and proteomics of animals.
