Neuro-Oncology is the study of tumours of brain and spinal cord many of which are dangerous and life threatening and mostly incurable. Diagnostic process commonly used is CT and MRI. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy is mostly used for treatment of brain tumours. Surgery in some cases is curative but malignant brain tumours have the tendency to regenerate.
