Dunja Rukavina

Assistant professor, Department of Morphology, University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovin.

Dunja Rukavina is awarded PhD in Veterinary Science from University of Sarajevo, in the year 2011. She holds a Master Degree (MSc) in Genetics, Faculty of Sciences from University of Sarajevo in the year 2007. She received her Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) Biology from University of Sarajevo in the year 1999. She has extended her valuable service in Biology and Molecular Biology for 17 years and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Currently, she is working as an Assistant Professor for subjects Biology in veterinary medicine and Molecular biology and biotechnology for University of Sarajevo. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. Her research interests reflect in her 35 published scientific papers in various national and international journals.  She serves as a member of Section Biological Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Association of geneticists in BiH, apart from being an author for 2 University text books.

Dunja Rukavina's research interests are Biology, clinical pathology, moleculat biology, biotechnology, cytology, animal physiology, morphology, biodosimetry and population genetics.
