Gururaja Udupa is currently associated with Department of Mechanical Enginnering at National Institute of Technology Karnataka as a Research Scholar. He obtained Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from P.E.S Institute of Technology, Mandya in the year 2001 and M.Tech in Manufacturing Technology from NITK surahtkal in the year 2006. His areas of intrest includes powder metallurgy,extrusion,Nano materials,composites, Functionally graded materials and vibration. He has five (5) international and national conferences papers and five (5) publication in international journal paper. He has been very passionate about teaching and he is a visiting faculty for a number of Engineering colleges in and around karnataka state,India for the last decade. Apart form that he also have a good experience of training students for competative exams and teaching for IIT-JEE. Many students have cleared JEE exam under his guidence and got selected for IIT and NITs.
