Biography

Jian Wu is an associate professor of the Department of Engineering Mechanics at Tsinghua University. He has broad interests in many branches of Engineering Science and is interested in establishing mechanics models for advanced technology, such as stretchable and flexible electronics, multifunctional catheters, epidermal electronics and pressure vessels. Mechanics provides the scientific and engineering foundations and design guidelines for these stretchable and flexible electronics and pressure vessels. He has published more than 50 journal papers and book chapters.
