Behavioral ecology is that the study of adaptations of animal and human behavior from a multidisciplinary perspective combining experimental analysis of behaviour with theoretical modelling, and therefore the selective pressures that yield them, in several ecological environments. It studies the causes and consequences of animal behavior with attention on social contexts. It majorly includes the utilization of ecological and evolutionary processes to elucidate the occurrence and adaptive significance of behavior patterns; the utilization of behavioral processes to predict ecological patterns, and empirical, comparative analyses relating behavior to the environment during which it occurs. the worth of a social behavior depends partially on the social behavior of an animal's neighbors. Some adaptations are behavioural and sometimes behaviour drives the evolution of latest adaptations by creating new selective environments. Scholarly journal may be a peer-reviewed journal during which scholarship concerning a specific academic discipline is published
