The niche includes how a population responds to the abundance of its resources and enemies. In ecology, all of the interactions of a species with the opposite members of its community, including competition, predation, parasitism, and mutualism. a spread of abiotic factors, like soil type and climate, also define a species’ niche. Each of the varied species that constitute a community occupies its own niche . Informally, a distinct segment is taken into account the “job” or “role” that a species performs within nature.
