Abstract

It is one of the most significant drivers of environmental change, influencing biodiversity, ecosystem services, and climate systems. This article examines the major drivers of land-use change, its ecological and socio-economic impacts, and strategies for sustainable land management. It also highlights the importance of integrated planning and policy frameworks to minimize environmental degradation while meeting human development needs.
