Biography

Feng Li, Professor of Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), visiting scholar of Stanford University, national registered environmental impact assessment engineer, ecology Ph. D supervised by Rusong Wang, a famous urban ecologist and ecological engineer, member of Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE). Prof. Li’s research focuses on urban ecology, urban ecosystem services, ecological planning, ecological engineering and ecological management. He made important achievements in evaluation, accounting, auditing and management methods for ecological land, compound ecological effects of impervious surface, ecological infrastructure engineering, evaluation and measuring approaches for urban ecosystem services, eco-environmental impact of urbanization and regulation measures. He is the vice secretary-general of the International Council on Ecopolis Development (IntEcopolis), vice director and secretary-general of urban ecology committee, Ecological Society of China (ESC), assistant director of Beijing Urban Ecosystem Research Station.
