Biography

Dr. Shima Bakhshalizadeh, an enthusiastic assistant professor in Department of Marine Science, Caspian Sea Basin Research Center, University of Guilan, Rasht, Iran, with excellent knowledge regarding marine biology, sturgeon life history and migration, and statics. She is researcher and co-researcher in many research projects especially on marine biology, sturgeon life history and migration. She published many scientific papers in academic scientific-research journals and also in ISI-indexed/JCR journals. She is writing 2 scientific books now in academic and famous press. She awarded a grant from "The Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund" at 2015. She has active presence in many national and international scientific congress and conferences for presenting of papers as oral and poster. Her current research interests are marine biology, sturgeon life history and migration. She was fourth-class graduate in Bachelor’s degree course in Animal Science from University of Guilan, Iran with a GPA of 17.14 (out of 20.00), 2001-2006. Shima was first-class graduate in Master of Science’s degree course in Marine Biology from University of Guilan, Iran with a GPA of 18.60 (out of 20.00), 2008-2009, Submitted thesis with excellent grade and GPA of 19.63 (out of 20.00). She graduated in PhD course of marine biology from University of Guilan, Iran with a GPA of 19.30 (out of 20.00), 20013-2017, Submitted PhD Thesis with Excellent Grade and GPA of 19.90 (out of 20.00).
