Editorial Note

This is prideful and delectated to say that in the year 2020, all the problems of volume 8 were published online well within the time but thanks to pandemic situation we were unable to dispatch the reprints. Therefore, we promulgated the article through social media accounts (twitter, linkedin) of the journal.

The articles published in Journal of Pure and Applied Physics are cited numerous times by eminent researchers all round the world. All published articles of this journal are included within the indexing and abstracting coverage of Index Copernicus, Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), Open J Gate, Cosmos IF, Cite Factor and far other coverage. The Index Copernicus value of the journal is 77.95.

The journal is using Editorial Manager System for quality in review process. Editorial Manager is a web manuscript submission, review and tracking systems. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of Journal of Pure and Applied Physics or outside experts; a minimum of two independent reviewers’ approval followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript. Authors may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the system, hopefully to publication. Reviewers can download manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor. Editors can manage the entire submission/review/revise/publish process.

The visitor’s traffic is that the benchmark for the success of any scientific journal and therefore the Journal of Pure and Applied Physics is consistently attracting viewers across the planet.

According to the Google Analytics, quite readers are visiting to our journal websites for submitting manuscripts, to browse the newest research published on applied physics and to refer the published content for conceptualizing their research study, deriving research hypotheses, case reports and validating their contributions.

Readers from the main countries including US, Japan, UK, India, Egypt and Nigeria visit our journal domain to find out about the continued research activities during this field. The promotion of the individual author contributions is taken care of and hence the authors enjoy the reputation among global audience.

During the civil year 2020, JPAP received variety of papers out of which 48% were rejected within the preliminary screening and 20% were rejected during the referee process. Around 32% articles has been processed and published online. A complete of fifty research scientists from everywhere the planet contributed as reviewer within the journal. The editors within the Editorial Board of the journal actively contributed with their valuable services throughout the year for the publication of articles.

I take this chance to acknowledge the contribution of the editors during the ultimate editing of articles published and therefore the support rendered by them in bringing out problems with JPAP in time.
