Biography

Pravin More was born on May 1, 1971, in Jalgaon (MS), India. He received the M.Sc. degree in Physics from the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, in 1994, and the M. Phil., Ph.D. Degrees in Physics from the University of Pune at Pune (MS), in 1998 and 2004, His doctoral research concerned study of Inorganic resistive materials and characterization for sensing application. From 1995 to 1998, he served as a research fellow with the University department of Physics. In Jun 1998, he joined the faculty of the Physics, Department of Physics and Electronics, different Colleges in Pune and Pune University, Pune, where he worked as Lecturer in Physics. He has established the Nano Material Application laboratory at Government Institute of Science, Mumbai and Novel Material Research Laboratory at government vidarbha institute of Science, Amravti (MS), India, to explore enabling ideas and technologies for integrated micro sensing systems, in particular, Sensors that are use for industrial, Agriculture and space application. His research interests include study, fabrication and characterization of chemical, Bio-chemical, Polymer and optical sensors in terms of micro electromechanical / nano electromechanical system, (MEMS/NEMS) and MEMS sensors, micromachining, and solid-state technology. Dr. More was the recipient of the Best industrial oriented work Award (1999), Department of Science and Technology Research fellowship (1998), worked as Research fellow in project sponsored by Volkswagen foundation Germany (2003). And published, presented several research Papers in International, National Journals, conferences, symposia and workshops. Dr. More received best oral presentation award in AMDP2011 Takushima Japan in 18 july 2011 and participated as session chair in AMDP2011 Takushima Japan. Dr. More received best oral presentation award in AMDP2011. Takushima Japan in 18 july 2011 and participated as session chair and presented paper in AMWC-2015 at Sweden.
