Dr. Md. Nural Anwar is awarded PhD in from Applied Botany, Mysore University, India in the year 1988 .  He holds a Master Degree (MSc) in Botany, from Dhaka University in the 1975 , followed by a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Botany from Dhaka University in the 1974. He has extended his valuable service in Antagonistic microbes and their antibiotics for years and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Currently, he   is working as an professor for University of Chittagong .  His   International experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.  His research interests reflect in his wide range of Publications in various national and international journals.  He is the Editorial Board Member of Bangladesh Journal of Microbiology, Bangladesh Journal of Botany, C.U. Journal of Science,  C.U. Journal of Bio-Sciences  and serves as a member of various associations President, Teacher Association, CU -2004-2005) , apart from being an author for many books .  

 1.Plants, secondary metabolites and their antimicrobial activities.
2.Antagonistic microbes and their antibiotics.
3.Microbial enzymes (Cellulase, Amylases and proteases).
